    I brought my vehicle in due to an airbag warning light and was charged $260 for diagnostics, only to find out I needed a $293 software update. It's unreasonable to charge such a high fee for merely identifying a software issue, especially without notifying customers about updates via text, email, or mail. It’s distressing that these updates trigger safety warning lights, causing unnecessary anxiety for drivers. Additionally, I scheduled the appointment over the phone and was assured a quick turnaround. However, upon arrival 30 minutes later, I was informed my appointment hadn’t been properly scheduled due to a system error, and I’d need to leave my car for service. While the technician completed the diagnosis and update within 1.5 hours—a reasonable timeframe—I found it unacceptable that customer service provided conflicting information and mismanaged the appointment process.
